Mishka Pitter-Armand is a business leader with over 20 years of experience in lifestyle, product and not-for-profit marketing. As Chief Marketing Officer at Crisis Text Line, Mishka leads marketing and communications functions (MarCom). The MarCom team is comprised of creative design, communications, social media, and growth marketing professionals who, collectively, drive powerful storytelling through campaigns that grow our volunteer base and audience engagement.
Prior to Crisis Text Line, Mishka served as Vice President, Brand and Product Marketing at Girl Scouts of the USA, where she oversaw the development and execution of dynamic, integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that position Girl Scouts for growth. Her work at Girl Scouts earned a 2019 Shorty Award and Webby Honor. Prior to Girl Scouts, Mishka spent her career elevating such brands as JDRF International, Starbucks Frappuccino, and Mountain Dew, by using the power of culture, media and design to tell compelling brand stories. At JDRF International, the world’s leading type 1 diabetes research foundation, she drove the extension of the organization’s rebrand across multi-million dollar fundraising channels and established a multi-disciplinary approach to brand building. During her tenure at PepsiCo, she conceptualized Dew Labs, Mountain Dew’s Mashable award-nominated social media-activated consumer community and developed and launched the best performing new flavor in Mountain Dew history. She ignited Starbucks Frappuccino’s digital and social media strategy, significantly improving sales, profits, consumer engagement and brand awareness.
Mishka received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree from Florida A&M University. She currently resides in Yonkers, New York with her husband and two children.
