Crisis Text Line Donor Wins $6,300 Canyon Spectral Mountain Bike
Professional mountain biker, Braydon Bringhurst of Canyon Bikes, recently completed a fundraiser in support of Crisis Text Line, where a person who donated $10 or more had a chance to win a free custom Spectral 29 mountain bike. More than $11,000 was raised, which went directly to Crisis Text Line to help save and change lives.
Let’s Meet the Winner–Q & A with Fernando Montilla
How did you hear about Crisis Text Line?
I learned about Crisis Text Line after watching Braydon’s movie “8600 FT” and through the fundraiser.
Why did you decide to donate to Crisis Text Line?
Sometimes it can be hard to find emotional support, and I think Crisis Text Line is doing a great job at bridging that gap for a lot of people out there.
How do you take care of your mental health?
Over the years, I’ve learned that movement is what works best for my mind. In winter, I enjoy trail running and skiing. The rest of the year, I ride my mountain bike almost every day.
Would you recommend Crisis Text Line as a mental health service to your friends/family?
Absolutely, everyone should know that there is help available 24/7, and Crisis Text Line has a great team of trained volunteer crisis counselors to support you.
How can you support Crisis Text Line? You can help us keep our services free and available 24/7 by making a donation. Together, we can ensure mental health support and resources are available for anyone who needs it. Remember that your donation, big or small, has a huge impact on the mental wellbeing of so many others. Donate today.
